Why this role exists

We're seeking a Virtual Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Online expertise to support our accounting team with bookkeeping operations during peak periods. This role combines bookkeeping responsibilities with administrative support.

The Impact you’ll make

Bookkeeping Support

  1. Process data entry in QuickBooks Online
  2. Handle daily sales entries using POS systems
  3. Support the accounting team during peak periods
  4. Maintain accurate financial records
  5. Ensure data accuracy and organization

Administrative Support

  • Manage calendars and scheduling
  • Handle client communications
  • Support personal administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with team members
  • Maintain organized documentation

Project Management

  • Track tasks through Monday.com
  • Coordinate team projects
  • Manage deadlines
  • Monitor project progress
  • Maintain organized workflows

System Management

  • QuickBooks Online operations
  • Restaurant POS systems
  • Monday.com
  • Blanket
  • Outlook (potentially transitioning)
  • Slack for communication

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required:

  • 1+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • 1+ years of QuickBooks Online experience (strongly preferred)
  • 1+ years experience with POS systems
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • 1+ years of calendar/administrative management
  • Proven track record of professional communication
  • Experience working remotely

WFH Set-Up:

  • Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
  • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
  • Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
  • Back-up computer and internet connection
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

  • 20-40 hours per week
