Amihan Solutions is a fast-growing company that works closely with primary European clients, building permanent quality delivery teams in the Philippines. This role is for an unicorn aspirant FinTech company in Singapore.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst with strong experience in Quality Assurance and Scrum Master capabilities. This is a hybrid role that requires someone with a strategic mindset, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for agile delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, ensure the quality of software solutions, and guide agile processes that drive successful product delivery. The investment product itself is not complicated but has ambition to grow on variability of features or its variations.
Your Role & Responsibility
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate strategic business objectives into specific, actionable product requirements.
- Develop easy to understand functional specifications, including data structures, cooperation with designers and frontend developers on UI/UX wireframes, and report layouts.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document comprehensive business and system requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the software development life cycle.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases mapped to specific business requirements. Ensure that delivered functionality corresponds with the requirements.
- Perform thorough regression and functional testing throughout the lifecycle of each code release.
- Log, track, and manage bugs or issues in coordination with development teams.
- Ensure QA documentation and results are auditable, well-organized, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Support and coach the team in Scrum practices, helping improve team dynamics and agile maturity. You will be backed-up by CTO who provides additional coaching on these topics.
- Nurture fast and MVP delivery culture while removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or QA Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Nice to have: Experience acting as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile facilitation role. At least willingness to take this responsibility and be coached in case this skill has not been practiced.
- Experience with requirements elicitation, process documentation, and QA testing techniques.
- Experience with API Testing using Postman.
- Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment.
